Elizabeth Scholnick is a documentary photographer, filmmaker, and writer living in New York City where she grew up.

She studied at ICP (International Center of Photography) during high school before attending The School of Visual Arts for college where she received her BFA in 2011.

Upon graduating, she found her passion for film which became a vital medium in her work. She began working on what would be her first documentary, It’s Like Our Mother.

Elizabeth published two issues of Mind Breath Magazine where she interviewed artists from all levels of discipline and notoriety in 2016 and 2017. You can view it here (Issue 1) and here (Issue 2).

Presently she is focusing her efforts into her love for photography, writing, and editing her long awaited documentary about NYC. As well as continuing to be sparked by her endless interest in connecting and sharing peoples stories from all over. When she’s not a hustling artist she works with Autistic individuals; coaching them to win at everyday life tasks and goals. As well as practice Reiki and meditation on herself and others.
